Catarratto Extra Lucido
Produced from Catarratto Extra Lucido grapes grown in Camporeale at an altitude of 450 metres, Fargione Monreale Bianco is made from hand-harvested grapes that undergo careful bunch selection. Gentle pressing of the whole bunches is followed by fermentation in French oak truncated-cone vats. The wine also ages in these vats for 15 months on fine lees, using the bâtonnage technique. After at least three months of bottle ageing, the process is completed with a production of 3,324 individually hand-numbered bottles.
